1. Overview
Presnly (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Presnly presentation remote control application for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS, as well as the website at presnly.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
We are committed to collecting only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve our Service. We do not sell your personal information and never will.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account information: Name, email address, and profile picture when you create an account
- Authentication data: Credentials via email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe (we never store full card numbers)
- Support inquiries: Messages, feedback, and communications you send to us
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Features used, session duration, and interaction patterns (anonymized)
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version
- Rehearsal analytics: Timing, pacing, and slide performance data (stored locally and optionally synced)
- Connection data: Information about device pairing and presentation sessions
Information we do NOT collect:
- Presentation file contents or slide content
- Audio or video recordings from rehearsals
- Contacts or location data
- Browsing history outside of presnly.com

We process your information based on legitimate interests (improving the Service), contractual necessity (providing the Service), and your consent (optional analytics).
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption at rest: All stored data is encrypted using AES-256
- Encryption in transit: All communications use TLS 1.3
- Access controls: Role-based access with the principle of least privilege
- Regular audits: Periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments
- Secure authentication: Managed through Supabase Auth with industry-standard protocols
While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining the highest practical standards.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Presnly:

8. Your Rights
Regardless of your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and associated data
- Export: Download your data in a portable format from within the app
- Restriction: Request restriction of processing of your personal data
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time

9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When you delete your account:
- Account information is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Rehearsal and presentation data is deleted immediately
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely
- Backup copies are purged within 90 days
10. Children’s Privacy
Presnly is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@presnly.com.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have different data protection laws. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to know: What personal information we collect and how it is used
- Right to delete: Request deletion of your personal information
- Right to opt-out: We do not sell personal information, so this right is already satisfied
- Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights

14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service, by email, or by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
